Get to know Logan

Corporate coach, LPC, all things neurodiverse.

My name is Logan Williamson, and I am a corporate coach and licensed professional counselor (LPC) for all things neurodiverse. The last 20+ years of my work have convinced me that corporations have yet to maximize their current workforce with autism and ADHD — and there is an upcoming generation of employees expecting this need to already be met.

Trained before it was cool

I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Rhodes College, a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas, and an additional two years of graduate work at the University of Denver in Clinical Psychology.

While in Denver, I was a core member of Knippenberg, Patterson, Langley & Associates — a leader in the treatment of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders before it was cool. I consulted at Denver Academy, a nationally renowned K—12 for children with different learning and behavioral disorders: running groups, providing support and education to their staff, and lecturing to parents and the community.

Helping people. Improving systems.

The New Orleans years

In 2012 I moved with my family to the funkiness that is New Orleans. I continued to provide therapy for neurodiverse folks and worked on programmatic health initiatives across the region. At Loyola it was helping coordinate departments to reduce sexual assaults on college campuses. At Daughters of Charity it was pioneering inner-city school-based groups that brought the health system to the public school system. At the Chartwell Center I ran educational and clinical support services, brought on new payors, fundraised, and collaborated with their Board as executive director.

The largest impact came while serving on the board of the Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority. As Board Chair for two of my six years, we achieved FQHC status with the federal government — ensuring financial and clinical viability for a quasi-governmental agency with an annual budget of $25 million.

And on a personal note

Back home in Dallas

In 2023 we moved back to my hometown of Dallas. Along for the journey is my proud New Orleanian wife and two genuinely amazing, brilliant children. Never to be left out, our pandemic pup, Rosie, follows us wherever we go as an aspiring therapy dog — it just turned out she was the one with anxiety.

My happy place is equal parts a clever 4-chord song on my Gibson, finding the limits of my Michelins on the Cherohala Skyway, experiencing the peace and quiet of a back bowl in Vail, and jetting off on an adventure with the wife who loves a deal as much as she loves sushi.
